Material guide
What changes between cotton, canvas and jute?
The right material depends on the desired structure, surface, weight and use. These are starting points for selecting a suitable construction.
Softer and more flexible, with a broad range of weights for lightweight totes and everyday reusable bags.
Heavier and more structured, suited to durable carry bags, premium merchandise and added internal details.
Firm, textured and visually distinctive, often selected for shopping, gifting and natural-fibre presentation.
Flat bags keep construction simple. Side or bottom gussets add capacity and help the bag hold its shape.
Short carry handles, shoulder-length straps and reinforced options can be matched to load and use.
Open tops, drawcords, zips, buttons and other closures depend on the product and required level of security.
Planning the range
Before requesting prices.
How do we choose the right fabric weight?
Begin with the intended use, target feel and expected load. A reference sample or comparable product helps KAP recommend a suitable weight for development.
Can multiple sizes or colours be developed?
Yes. Share the planned range structure so the relationship between sizes, colourways, artwork and total quantity can be reviewed together.
What information affects a quotation?
Material, dimensions, construction, branding method, quantity, packaging, destination and timing all influence feasibility and price.
What artwork or references should we provide?
Send vector artwork where available, plus a product photo, drawing, sample reference or measurements that show the intended result.

Send the closest product reference.
Provide an existing bag, photo, drawing or measurements, together with quantity, target market and delivery timing. KAP can use that information to define the next development step.
